This model is fine-tuned from OlmoEarth-v1-Base to map ecosystem types.
This model is licensed under the OlmoEarth Artifact License. It is intended for use in accordance with Ai2's Responsible Use Guidelines.
It is trained on expert-annotated ecosystem type data provided by Global Ecosystem Atlas. It is trained specifically for the north Africa region. The categories correspond to those in the IUCN Gloabl Ecosystem Typology. Global Ecosystem Atlas will release the dataset in 2026.
